Youthful writer Ernest Hemingway (Chris O'Donnell) enlists in the ambulance corps during World War One. However, his time in service is short-lived when, not long after being sent to Italy, he's wounded and taken to a Red Cross hospital. During his recovery, he falls for a nurse - but their romance soon looks set to be ripped apart. Fact-based romantic drama, co-starring Sandra Bullock and MacKenzie Astin.
