Movie (1989)
A childless couple plan to adopt the baby of two teenagers who are unable to look after it themselves. However, the natural mother's maternal instincts begin to take effect, leading her to renege on their bargain - a decision which looks set to cause heartbreak for everyone involved. Emotional drama boasting a host of cliches, but the strong cast - including Glenn Close, James Woods and Mary Stuart Masterson - make it worth watching
