Synopsis:
A London diplomat is blackmailed into pushing a dubious scheme through Parliament by a crafty former love, threatening both his career and marriage. Turning to an old and trusted friend for advice, he soon realises he's only managed to drag him into the mire of lies, temptations and secret liaisons as well.
