Synopsis:
Sean Connery plays a maverick Soviet submarine commander who causes consternation for both superpowers by suddenly and inexplicably setting a course for the American coast. Luckily, a canny CIA analyst thinks he can get to the bottom of things. Suspenseful Cold War thriller, with Alec Baldwin, Scott Glenn, Sam Neill, James Earl Jones and Joss Ackland. Shame about Connery's accent, but the rapid-fire action soon diverts attention away from it
