Winona Ryder stars as a young woman having second thoughts about her impending marriage. While spending the summer with her grandmother, she meets a gathering of women who lovingly make her a wedding quilt, and share their experiences of life and love. An encounter with a local man also makes her wonder if she's ready to settle down just yet.
