A middle-aged, henpecked husband tires of his nagging wife and his dreary job working for his overbearing father-in-law. To escape from his humdrum existence he decides to fake his own kidnap so he can start a new life in Alaska, funded by the ransom money. Comedy, directed by John Candy, who makes a cameo appearance, with George Wendt, Robin Duke, Frank Moore and Christopher Templeton
