Hope Springs

An English artist goes into a depressive slump after discovering his fiancee is marrying someone else, so heads for a small town in America for a little solitude. However, his meddling landlady is determined to turn his life around, and thinks a free-spirited local nurse might be just the person to put a smile on his face. Matters are complicated by the return of his fiancee, who hopes to rekindle their relationship. Uninspiring romantic comedy, based on a novel by the creator of The Graduate.
