Former beauty queen Hope's husband ruins her life by admitting on national TV that he's having an affair with her best friend. Humiliated and heartbroken, she embarks on a much-needed trip back to her roots. A visit to her childhood home proves to be just the ticket, and a fledgling romance with a kind-hearted admirer helps her regain a sense of purpose.
