Movie (1997)

Cheeky eight-year-old Alex Pruitt is delighted to be given a remote-controlled toy car by his neighbour, a grouchy elderly woman who's just returned from a holiday. However, due to baggage confusion at the airport, Alex's new plaything actually belongs to an international espionage team who have hidden a stolen microchip inside the vehicle. The crooks head to Alex's town with the intention of recovering their valuable item - blissfully unaware that he's home alone with chickenpox, and has prepared for their arrival with a series of nasty booby-traps. Alex D Linz does a good job of filling Macaulay Culkin's shoes as the resourceful youngster who's left in his house unsupervised. Olek Krupa, Rya Kihlstedt and Lenny von Dohlen co-star in this charming comedy sequel
