Movie (1996)
A war widow, struggling to bring up her small son alone, falls under the spell of a charismatic shop assistant - despite realising she would be more secure with the strait-laced lawyer who's also courting her. Cynthia Gibb, David James Elliott and Curtis Blanck star in this seasonal romantic comedy that really does make cheering viewing for Christmas Eve. It's a remake of - but not a match for - the 1949 Robert Mitchum and Janet Leigh classic
