Movie (1986)
A band of immortal warriors pit themselves against each other through the centuries, ultimately clashing in New York in a dramatic final showdown from which there can be only one survivor. Action-packed fantasy adventure, boasting a great soundtrack from Queen, stunning swordfights and an amusing parade of not-quite-right accents. The film was followed by a seemingly never-ending string of increasingly daft sequels and spin-offs, none of which captures the magic of the original. Christopher Lambert, Sean Connery, Clancy Brown, Roxanne Hart and Alan North are among the cast.
