An author suffering from writer's block provides a fake alibi for a sultry murderess and moves her into his home, hoping she'll supply him with the inspiration he so desperately needs, only to be propelled into chaos by her madcap family, sinister secret agents and a devious district attorney with an unknown agenda. Misjudged comedy thriller with a romantic edge that would have been more enjoyable if it'd simply had a stronger plot, starring Tom Selleck and Paulina Porizkova, with James Farentino and Patrick Wayne
