Synopsis:

Adventure based on the legend of the Trojan War, which began when the soldiers of Troy abducted the beautiful Helen and ended with the Greeks' wooden horse ruse. Mythical epic, which unusually tells the story from the Trojans' viewpoint. Magnificent visuals and a spectacular finale are undercut by stilted performances and a slow pace. Starring Stanley Baker, Brigitte Bardot, Rossana Podesta and Cedric Hardwicke. Directed by Robert Wise, more famous for West Side Story and The Sound of Music
