Comedy about Mays Gilliam, a fast-talking, plain-speaking politician from an inner-city neighbourhood who is persuaded to run for the presidency when his party's candidate dies. Meanwhile, his ex-girlfriend has a change of heart about leaving him when she sees the opportunity to become the first lady.
