Synopsis:

James Stewart stars in his favourite film as harmless, lovable, middle-aged alcoholic Elwood P Dowd, who adopts an imaginary six-foot white rabbit named Harvey as his best friend - much to the horror of his sister (Oscar-winner Josephine Hull), who immediately goes to great lengths to have him certified. Comedy classic, also starring Victoria Horne, Peggy Dow and Cecil Kellaway. Adapted for the screen by Mary Chase from her own play
