Movie (1968)
Tommy Steele stars as a humble London draper's assistant who unexpectedly inherits a fortune from his grandfather. However, his newfound riches do him no good, as he abandons his old friends in favour of high society, while his relationship with girlfriend Julia Foster suffers as wealth goes to his head. Infectiously perky musical based on HG Wells' Kipps, co-starring Cyril Ritchard and Penelope Horner, and featuring well-loved numbers including the title song and Flash, Bang, Wallop!
