Movie (1967)
A well-to-do West Coast girl announces she intends to marry a black man, forcing her parents to confront their intolerance and prejudice. Sidney Poitier, Spencer Tracy, Katherine Hepburn, Katharine Houghton and Beah Richards star in this film which attempts to break down racial barriers and was made at a time when the Civil Rights Movement, lead by Dr Martin Luther King Jnr and Malcolm X, was still at the forefront of American politics.
