Beautifully rendered emotional true story of the Skye terrier that kept a persistent vigil over its master's grave on a farm estate in 19th-century Edinburgh. Along the way, the devoted canine wins the heart of the caretaker responsible for the grounds, and is eventually granted the freedom of the city.
