This Western is hardly the first to explore the events leading up to the infamous Battle of the Little Bighorn, but it's one of the more energetic offerings on the subject. Philip Carey stars as the ambitious Custer, who harbours dreams of running for the Presidency, but must put aside his personal opinions in order to win support from the voting public - a sacrifice which leads inexorably to his famed demise.
