John Mills heads the cast of this breathtaking, Oscar-winning adaptation of the classic Dickens novel about a poor orphan whose fortune is made thanks to a mysterious benefactor, following his many adventures as he journeys toward adulthood and success. Directed by David Lean, whose credits also include The Bridge on the River Kwai, Lawrence of Arabia and Doctor Zhivago. Alec Guinness co-stars, along with Valerie Hobson, Bernard Miles, Finlay Currie and Jean Simmons
