A young Senagalese taxi driver living in America likes to befriend his passengers, who often find his chatty demeanour perplexing. One day he picks up an elderly man and realises his fare intends to commit suicide when he reaches his destination, compelling the compassionate cab driver to try and persuade him to carry on living.
