Movie (1958)
Anthony Mann's drama set in the Depression-hit Deep South of the 1930s. It stars Robert Ryan as a poverty-stricken cotton farmer who ignores the many troubles of his family as he embarks on a hopeless search for a cache of gold. However, his obsession with the treasure, which he believes is buried beneath his ranch, leads to tragedy.
