Epic American Civil War drama charting the fortunes of the Confederate army led by Lt General Thomas 'Stonewall' Jackson in the early years of the conflict against the Union forces commanded by Lt Colonel Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain and General Robert E Lee. The events start with the attack on Fort Sumter in April 1861 and end with the Battle of Chancellorsville in May of 1863. Prequel to the 1993 film Gettysburg, starring Stephen Lang, Jeff Daniels, Robert Duvall and Mira Sorvino
