Kuno Becker stars in this rags-to-riches story as a Mexican living in Los Angeles who dreams of becoming a professional footballer. His wish seems to have been granted when a talent scout offers him the chance to play for Newcastle United - but the pressures of the Premiership and adapting to a new life in Britain prove harder than expected. Anna Friel also appears in the first part of a sporting trilogy, the second instalment of which has been recently released. Real-life soccer stars David Beckham, Alan Shearer and Zinedine Zidane make cameos
