Movie (1953)
Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell star as a pair of lounge singers who head for Paris in search of rich husbands. However, while Dorothy (Russell) falls for a penniless man - prompting her friend to search for an alternative - Lorelei (Monroe) thinks she's found the millionaire of her dreams, only for his father to hire a private eye to spy on her and prove she's a gold-digger. Howard Hawks' wonderful and exuberant version of the Twenties musical satire, also starring Charles Coburn, Elliott Reid and Tommy Noonan. Songs include Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend
