Movie (1977)
Downbeat cop Clint Eastwood sets out to escort a prostitute from Las Vegas to Phoenix so she can give evidence in a high-profile Mob trial. But corrupt officials soon throw a spanner in the works as they set out to ensure the witness never makes it to court, and the mismatched pair's race to survive is compromised by a burgeoning romance. Violent but well-choreographed and energetic action adventure which Eastwood also directed, co-starring Sondra Locke, Bill McKinney and Pat Hingle.
