Movie (1969)
A naive young man leaves his small town roots in 1910 to seek his fortune in Chicago. Robbed of all his money on his first day, he is taken under the wing of a kindly bordello madam, whose line of work he remains completely oblivious to. She gets him a job as a reporter, which leads to his involvement in political scandal. Period comedy, with Beau Bridges and Melina Mercouri
