Movie (1994)
A yuppie seems destined always to be the best man and never the groom, but his run of romantic misfortune looks set to change once he meets an American beauty. However, the prospect of a transatlantic relationship succeeding seems slim, so the pair go their separate ways - only for him to realise he can't forget her. Richard Curtis's brilliantly played blockbusting comedy hurled Hugh Grant into the showbiz stratosphere, while Andie MacDowell manages to be slightly less annoying than usual, playing his unlikely soulmate.
