Forbidden Planet

Space travellers journey to an unexplored world, where another spaceship disappeared without trace 20 years previously. They find the planet inhabited only by mysterious scientist Dr Morbius, his beautiful daughter and their robot servant. However, Morbius doesn't take kindly to intruders entering his domain and it soon becomes clear that sinister forces are at work beneath the planet's idyllic facade. Classic sci-fi tale loosely based on Shakespeare's The Tempest, starring Walter Pidgeon, Anne Francis, Leslie Nielsen and Warren Stevens
