An ageing baseball star learns he's being transferred to another team, while his long-term love is moving to London, leaving him with a host of difficult decisions guaranteed to put him off his game. Overlong romantic drama with too much focus on the details of the sport to keep fans of love stories watching. Kevin Costner is suitably grizzled in the lead, alongside Kelly Preston, John C Reilly, Brian Cox and Jena Malone
