Synopsis:
Insubstantial World War Two drama about the heroic escapades of American pilots engaged in a series of nerve-jangling dogfights with the Japanese over China. However, squadron leader John Wayne has to contend with not just the enemy, but a hot-headed young flyer whose recklessness costs the life of one of his comrades. John Carroll, Anna Lee and Paul Kelly number among the decent cast. The Fighting Seabees, another World War Two movie starring Wayne, can be seen on Tuesday
