Flight of the Phoenix

Dennis Quaid stars in this adventure, a remake of the 1966 film of the same name. He plays the pilot of a plane which crashes in the Gobi desert, leaving all the survivors stranded. With tensions rising and resources scarce, the passengers must embark on a desperate plan - to build a new plane out of the wreckage of the old one. It's entertaining enough, though not in the same league as the original. Tyrese Gibson, Giovanni Ribisi and Miranda Otto co-star.
