Nikita and Leon director Luc Besson's glorious, colourful sci-fi thriller, starring Bruce Willis and a hilarious Gary Oldman. A 23rd-century New York cab driver's life is turned upside down by a beautiful woman who quite literally drops into his taxi - and it's not long before he realises there's something a bit odd about her. When he finds himself pursued by bumbling villains and a pair of over-zealous priests, he resolves to do whatever he can to find out what's going on - a vow which leads to him being flung into battle against a horde of marauding aliens at an intergalactic holiday resort. Milla Jovovich co-stars alongside Ian Holm, Luke Perry, Tricky, Lee Evans, Brion James and Chris Tucker, whose horribly over-the-top performance is sadly the film's most grating flaw.
