Synopsis:

Adventure set in Borneo during World War Two. Nick Nolte plays an Army deserter who escapes execution at the hands of the Japanese, and flees into the jungle. There he becomes the leader of a local tribe and tries to protect them from both sides in the conflict. But he finds himself pulled back into the war when a British officer stumbles across the natives, and tries to enlist their aid. Muddled and ineffectual would-be epic, co-starring Nigel Havers and James Fox
