A conman in debt to a gangster gets hold of a sketch by a famous artist. However, its market value is not enough to make him the money he needs, so he comes up with a masterly plan to make five copies and sell each forgery to a different gallery - but, so that no one notices there are multiple versions on the market, all the sales have to take place within an hour.
