Fact-based crime drama chronicling events surrounding the 1978 murders of San Francisco Mayor George Moscone and the first openly gay city supervisor, Harvey Milk. The case sparked outrage when the killer claimed his actions were a result of emotional instability caused by eating too much junk food - an argument that bizarrely persuaded the courts to reduce his sentence from murder to voluntary manslaughter.
