Epic big-screen version of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's musical stage success, charting Eva Peron's rise from poverty to become Argentina's beloved first lady, famed for helping the lower classes. Madonna takes the title role, and the supporting cast includes Antonio Banderas, Jimmy Nail and Jonathan Pryce as Argentine president and Eva's husband Juan Peron.
