Movie (1988)
Jim Varney reprises his role as hapless hero Ernest P Worrell, this time teaming up with an ageing Santa Claus to restore people's feeling of goodwill over the festive season. If he's hoping for a similar effect with this feeble attempt at a feelgood comedy he'll be disappointed. Douglas Seale, Oliver Clarke, Noelle Parker, Robert Lesser and Gailard Sartain co-star. Trivia fans might be interested to know that one of Varney's lesser-known roles was as the voice of Slinky the Dog in Disney's smash-hit Toy Story movies
