The late Charlton Heston stars as the 11th-century Spanish hero determined to rid his country of the Islamic Moors, with the action reaching a dramatic conclusion as the defenders of Valencia face the invaders. Anthony Mann's stunning epic, featuring majestic battle scenes, a sweeping score and superior scripting.
