Movie (2006)
This biographical drama captures the rise and fall of Latin singer Hector Lavoe. He arrived in New York from Puerto Rico in the 1960s and helped launch the boom in salsa music, before contributing to his own demise through addictions to alcohol and drugs. Marc Anthony stars as the salsa idol, with Jennifer Lopez as his long-suffering wife. Frederico Castelluccio, Vincent Laresca and John Ortiz also star.
