Groucho Marx stars as the incompetent president of a mythical country, who declares war on a neighbouring state, with predictably surreal results. Classic comedy with the Marx Brothers, arguably their finest hour - the famous broken mirror sequence is genius. The film was banned in Mussolini's Italy for its satirical portrayal of dictatorship. Margaret Dumont provides the perfect foil for Groucho, while straight man Zeppo clocks in his final appearance
