Beautifully executed John Ford Western about a group of settlers who clash with indignant Indians while trying to move in and colonise an area of the Mohawk Valley during the American War of Independence. Starring Henry Fonda, Claudette Colbert, Edna May Oliver and John Carradine. The story and stars are all good, but it's the stunning scenery and gorgeous colour which make it a real treat
