A police psychiatrist is called to stop a suicidal woman hurling herself from the top of a tower block. However, he finds himself drawn to her - and the pair decide to go on a date. Unfortunately, instead of enjoying a romantic evening, they end up fighting for their lives in a vandalised lift while fire rages in the engine room.
