Movie (2002)
Romantic drama, following three unusual love stories, the first of which involves a young man forced to give up his girlfriend by his family in favour of an arranged marriage. But when she is driven to madness, he goes to extreme lengths to put things right. A gangster reflects on the lost love he gave up in the pursuit of power in the underworld, and a disfigured former pop star encounters her biggest fan, who makes a terrible sacrifice to prove his devotion to her. Takeshi Kitano's haunting and visually stunning film stars Miho Kanno, Hidetoshi Nishijima, Tatsuya Mihashi and Chieko Matsubara
