Movie (1954)
The first instalment in the popular series of comedies starring Dirk Bogarde as hapless medic Simon Sparrow. Starting out as a young medical student, Simon is taken under the wing of a trio of roguish colleagues who lead him astray into a riotous series of pranks and amorous escapades which succeed in infuriating the dictatorial head doctor Sir Lancelot Sprat (a scene-stealing James Robertson Justice). Based on the novels by Richard Gordon and also starring Kenneth More and Donald Sinden
