Movie (1988)
New York cop Bruce Willis tackles ruthless criminals who've taken over a skyscraper, waging a deadly war of attrition against ringleader Alan Rickman and his gang, armed only with his wits, steely determination and a white vest - until he gets hold of a gun and some explosives, which is when the party really gets started. Breathless, violent action thriller which made Willis's reputation as a movie tough guy and boasts unforgettable one-liners and stunt sequences. Rickman is fantastic as the cold, calculating villain, while Bonnie Bedelia, Alexander Godunov, Reginald VelJohnson and Hart Bochner offer decent support.
