Movie (2000)
Fascinating World War Two drama, set in a Chinese peasant village during the Japanese occupation. One of the village's residents finds himself forced by the resistance to take in two prisoners of war - a fanatical Japanese soldier and his nervous Chinese translator. However, as time passes it becomes apparent the resistance are not returning for their prisoners, leaving the villagers to decide what to do with them. Directed by and starring Wen Jiang, with Hongbo Jiang and Teruyuki Kagawa
