Movie (1975)
Paul Bartel explores America's obsession with cars, violence and sports in this sci-fi satire set in a totalitarian future. David Carradine and a young Sylvester Stallone are among the participants in a coast-to-coast car race where the winner is the driver who runs over the most pedestrians. However, a plucky revolutionary leader plans to sabotage the barbaric event by smuggling her daughter in as one of the navigators. Simone Griffeth and Louisa Moritz also star.
