A mute woman builds a reputation as a dancer, giving lessons to children, and winning contest after contest. However, she yearns to make it big on Broadway, so is thrilled to finally get an audition. But when the director learns she can't speak, he refuses to hire her. Luckily, a besotted scientist thinks he can help her overcome her disability.
