The Doctor struggles to thwart the deadly Daleks' dastardly scheme to remove the Earth's core and turn the planet into a vast spaceship. Peter Cushing reprises his role as the eccentric time-traveller in this hugely enjoyable second movie spin-off based on the popular BBC sci-fi series, which is due to return to the small screen tomorrow night with Christopher Eccleston in the title role.
